Reading the library

The site does not display advertisements or offer a newsletter subscription service. The hosting provider may process technical request information to operate and secure the service.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and how readers use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information such as page views, interactions, browser and device information, and approximate location. We use these reports to improve the site.

We do not configure Analytics to receive your ChatGPT account identifier, saved reminder list, email address or correction message. Google processes analytics data under its Privacy Policy. You can manage cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Saved reminders

New bookmarks are stored locally in this browser using local storage. No login is required, and these bookmark changes are not sent to our server. They are specific to this website, browser and device; they do not sync across devices. Anyone using the same browser profile may see them. Remove bookmarks using Save or Saved Reminders, or clear this site’s browser data. Private browsing may retain bookmarks only for the session. Earlier account-based bookmarks are not automatically transferred to browser storage.

Private corrections dashboard

The site owner signs in with ChatGPT to review correction reports. Sign-in is handled by the hosting platform. The dashboard is restricted to the owner and excluded from Google Analytics.

Contact and correction reports

We store your message, report category, affected entry, submission time and optional email so the report can be reviewed. A short-lived hashed network identifier is used for submission rate limits. Reports are not publicly displayed. Site administrators can access submissions for review. Do not include sensitive personal information.

Retention and requests

Browser bookmarks remain until you remove them or clear browser data. Earlier account-based bookmarks remain in our database and can be included in a deletion request. Reports are retained for editorial follow-up; no automatic deletion schedule is currently configured. To request access, correction or deletion of submitted information, use the contact form and provide enough detail to identify it.

Source and sharing links open third-party services. Their privacy practices apply when you use those services.
