أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَٰتٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ
Such are they on whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy. Such are the rightly guided.

What It Means: Reading in Context
These verses bring together patience, prayer, testing and perseverance. The sequence in Al-Baqarah 2:155–157 names experiences of loss and then describes the response of those who remember their return to Allah. Reading the sequence matters: a short quotation should not erase the reality of suffering.
