What It Means: Reading in Context

This verse follows the givers’ words in 76:8–10, already in the library. After their concern about the Day of Judgement, the passage describes Allah’s protection and joy for them. Verse 76:12 continues with their reward for endurance. This is a Hereafter setting, not a guarantee of immediate relief from every worldly difficulty. Hope in these passages is connected with turning toward Allah, mercy and continuing to act. Read the closing verses of Ash-Sharh alongside the assurance about hardship and ease.
